The honest answer is that nobody can quote junk removal accurately without seeing the load. What we can do is show you real numbers from jobs we cleared this year, and explain exactly what moves a price up or down, so the figure you get back is not a surprise.
Typical prices we quoted in Dubai
These are real jobs, not estimates:
- Single sofa or mattress – AED 250 to 400
- Fridge, washing machine and a few boxes – AED 340 to 500
- One-bedroom apartment clear-out – AED 700 to 1,100
- Two-bedroom apartment clear-out – AED 1,400 to 1,800
- Post-renovation debris, one to two truck loads – AED 750 to 1,600
- Office strip-out, around 12 desks – AED 1,800 to 2,200
Every one of those is an all-inclusive figure. Labour, the truck, tip fees and disposal paperwork are already in it.
The four things that actually change the price
1. Volume, not weight
We price by how much space your junk takes in the truck. This surprises people: a truck of pillows and a truck of tiles cost roughly the same to haul, even though one weighs ten times more. The exception is heavy rubble, where tip fees are charged by tonne.
2. Access
Ground floor with a loading bay is the cheapest scenario. A fifth-floor walk-up with no lift is the most expensive, because the same load takes three times as long. If your building restricts service lift hours, tell us up front so we book the right slot.
3. What the item is
Most household junk goes to a general facility. Fridges and air conditioners need refrigerant handled separately, and electronics have to go to a licensed e-waste processor. Those items carry a little more than a sofa of the same size.
4. Dismantling
A wardrobe that comes apart in ten minutes is cheaper than one bolted to a wall. We include dismantling in the quote, but heavy built-in units add time.
What should not be on your bill
Be cautious of any company that adds these after the fact:
- A call-out or site-visit fee
- Per-item surcharges discovered on the day
- A travel surcharge for your emirate
- Separate tip or disposal fees
We quote one number before we set off, and that is the number you pay. If the load turns out to be materially bigger than the photos showed, we tell you before we start loading, not after.
How to get an accurate quote in ten minutes
Send us photos on WhatsApp. Wide shots of the whole room beat close-ups of individual items, because we are judging volume. Mention the floor, whether there is a lift, and your area. That is genuinely all we need.
