Emaar permits, lift slots and loading bays
Emaar Community Management runs a formal move-in and move-out process across most Downtown residential towers, and bulky waste removal falls under it. In practice you will need a permit opened in advance, usually twenty-four to forty-eight hours, with the contractor trade licence and insurance certificate attached. Some buildings also ask for a refundable deposit against damage to the lift or corridors.
Service lifts are booked in slots, and in the busier towers those slots go quickly at month end. If your handover date is fixed, book the clearance a few days early rather than the day before, because the last week of the month is when Downtown lift availability disappears.
Loading bays are in the basement and shared with hotel and retail traffic, with height restrictions in several buildings. We send a van rather than a truck where clearance is tight. Boulevard-level entrances are not an option for removals in almost any Downtown tower, so the basement route is the route.

Volume and the lift window drive the price. A single item during an open lift slot is quick. A full apartment during a restricted evening window takes a planned crew, because we hold the slot until the job is done.

Downtown Dubai junk removal: common questions
Do I need an Emaar permit to remove furniture?
In most Downtown residential towers, yes. Emaar Community Management runs a move-out permit process and bulky removals fall under it. Open the permit twenty-four to forty-eight hours ahead and we will supply our trade licence and insurance to management directly.
Can you work evenings in Downtown?
Yes. Several Downtown towers only allow bulky removals outside peak hours, so evening and early morning slots are normal for us here. There is no extra charge for an evening window.
How far ahead should I book at month end?
Give yourself a few days. The last week of the month is when service lift slots across Downtown fill up, and a handover deadline plus no lift availability is a difficult combination.
Do you clear Old Town apartments?
