How Much Does Junk Removal Cost in Dubai? A 2026 Price Guide

The honest answer is that nobody can quote junk removal accurately without seeing the load. What we can do is show you real numbers from jobs we cleared this year, and explain exactly what moves a price up or down, so the figure you get back is not a surprise.

Typical prices we quoted in Dubai

These are real jobs, not estimates:

  • Single sofa or mattress – AED 250 to 400
  • Fridge, washing machine and a few boxes – AED 340 to 500
  • One-bedroom apartment clear-out – AED 700 to 1,100
  • Two-bedroom apartment clear-out – AED 1,400 to 1,800
  • Post-renovation debris, one to two truck loads – AED 750 to 1,600
  • Office strip-out, around 12 desks – AED 1,800 to 2,200

Every one of those is an all-inclusive figure. Labour, the truck, tip fees and disposal paperwork are already in it.

The four things that actually change the price

1. Volume, not weight

We price by how much space your junk takes in the truck. This surprises people: a truck of pillows and a truck of tiles cost roughly the same to haul, even though one weighs ten times more. The exception is heavy rubble, where tip fees are charged by tonne.

2. Access

Ground floor with a loading bay is the cheapest scenario. A fifth-floor walk-up with no lift is the most expensive, because the same load takes three times as long. If your building restricts service lift hours, tell us up front so we book the right slot.

3. What the item is

Most household junk goes to a general facility. Fridges and air conditioners need refrigerant handled separately, and electronics have to go to a licensed e-waste processor. Those items carry a little more than a sofa of the same size.

4. Dismantling

A wardrobe that comes apart in ten minutes is cheaper than one bolted to a wall. We include dismantling in the quote, but heavy built-in units add time.

Does the price change outside Dubai?

The way we price is the same in every emirate: volume, access, item type and dismantling. What changes is the schedule. Dubai is covered same-day, seven days a week. Sharjah has daily collections, Abu Dhabi is covered on Tuesdays and Thursdays, Ajman on Wednesdays and Ras Al Khaimah on Saturdays.

Because those days are planned routes, we do not add a travel surcharge for them. A two-bedroom clear-out in Al Nahda is priced the same way as one in Dubai Marina. If you need a collection outside the scheduled day, ask, and we will tell you honestly whether it changes the number.

Same-day or booked ahead: does it cost more?

In Dubai, a same-day slot costs the same as one booked a week out. The difference is availability, not price. The last few days of every month are the busiest, because that is when most tenancies end. If your handover falls at month end, book three or four days early to get the time you want, particularly if your building only allows service lift use in a narrow window.

Five ways to bring the cost down

  • Pull out what can be sold or donated first. Anything that leaves another way is volume you are not paying to haul.
  • Group everything in one spot. Items collected from one room or the driveway load faster than items spread across a villa and a storeroom.
  • Dismantle what you easily can. Flat-pack beds and shelving take less truck space once they are flat again.
  • Book the service lift for us. A confirmed slot means the crew is not waiting, and waiting time is the hidden cost in tower jobs.
  • Do it in one visit. One larger job is cheaper than three small ones, because the truck and crew only travel once.

Why the cheapest quote often costs more

You will find someone who will take a sofa for less. The risk is in what happens next. Unlicensed operators have nowhere legal to tip, so loads end up dumped by the roadside or in the desert, and you have no paperwork showing where your junk went. They also tend to quote low on the phone and add charges once everything is on the truck, when you have little choice but to pay.

Before you book anyone, ask three questions. Is the price fixed before loading? Is disposal included? Will you give me a disposal certificate? If any answer is vague, the low price probably is too.

What should not be on your bill

Be cautious of any company that adds these after the fact:

  • A call-out or site-visit fee
  • Per-item surcharges discovered on the day
  • A travel surcharge for your emirate
  • Separate tip or disposal fees

We quote one number before we set off, and that is the number you pay. If the load turns out to be materially bigger than the photos showed, we tell you before we start loading, not after.

How to get an accurate quote in ten minutes

Prices also shift a little by community. Tower jobs in Dubai Marina and Downtown depend on the service lift window, while villa work in Arabian Ranches or Emirates Hills is priced by volume and driveway access.

Send us photos on WhatsApp. Wide shots of the whole room beat close-ups of individual items, because we are judging volume. Mention the floor, whether there is a lift, and your area. That is genuinely all we need.

Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost to remove a single sofa in Dubai?

A single sofa usually costs AED 250 to 400 to remove, including labour, transport and disposal. Large corner sofas or pieces carried down several floors without a lift sit at the top of that range.

Is junk removal priced per item or per load?

We price by volume, meaning how much space the load takes in the truck. Heavy rubble is the exception because disposal sites charge for it by weight.

Do you charge extra for Sharjah, Ajman or Abu Dhabi?

No. Collections on our scheduled days in each emirate are priced the same way as Dubai jobs, with no travel surcharge.

Can the price change on the day?

The price we quote before setting off is the price you pay. The only exception is a load that is clearly bigger than the photos showed, and we tell you before loading starts so you can decide.

Which items cost more to remove?

Fridges, freezers and air conditioners cost a little more because the refrigerant must be drained by a licensed handler. TVs, computers and other electronics also go to a licensed e-waste processor. Built-in units that need heavy dismantling add time.
